Therapeutic Foster Parent

About your Role:

As our Therapeutic Foster Parent, you will provide support in establishing the placement of foster care youth, focused on our goal of creating successful placement matches to ensure our youth can heal in the best environment possible for them.

• Weekly one-to-one support sessions with foster care professionals

Does the following apply to you?
 

• 21 years of age or older
• Currently reside within the State of Arizona
• Minimum One (1) year or equivalent experience in foster care or providing direct support to children with challenging behavioral needs i.e. Special Education Teacher, Clinical Therapist, Behavioral Health Residential Services Staff, Nurse or Doctor etc.
• Satisfactory results of DCS Clearance with no substantiated reports as well satisfactory results of background checks as required
• Current Arizona State Driver’s License in good standing with a good driving record for the past three (3) years; along with active personal vehicle registration and liability insurance
• Access and use of office equipment such as: computer, phone, printer, etc.
